You’re invited to join us for BuzzFest — a joyful, educational, and un-bee-lievably fun celebration of pollinators, native plants, and the people protecting them!

Location: Crystal Beach Farmers Market @ The Grove – 4055 Erie Rd, Crystal Beach, ON

Hosted by the Niagara Bee Group in collaboration with the Crystal Beach Farmers Market, BuzzFest brings together farmers, families, crafters, conservationists, and bee-lovers of all ages for a day of connection, learning, tasting, and celebration.

Why We Buzz

BuzzFest is more than a party—it’s a fundraiser for pollinators and biodiversity across Niagara. Niagara Bee Group is a not-for-profit and your donations help:

• Restore pollinator habitats with native wildflowers, shrubs, and trees
• Expand our Host-a-Hive Program for honey bees and native bees
• Provide youth & community education programs
• Share guides & planting lists for pollinator-friendly spaces
• Reintroduce the Bobwhite Quail for natural pest control like deer ticks
• Build Nesting platforms for Eagles and birds of prey

Because when we care for pollinators, we care for the whole planet.

Event Schedule

·       10:00 AM – Introduction by Niagara Bee Group and Crystal Beach Farmer’s Market

·       10:30 AM - Live Honey Extraction Demonstration

·       11:00 AM – Free Honey Tasting samples

·       11:30 PM – “Bumbees” Awards for Host A Hive participants

·       12:00 PM – Learn about the Quail release program to control tick infestation

·       12:30 PM – Understand how Eagle Nesting Platforms help support Birds of Prey

·       1:00 PM – The importance of Native Plants and Pollinators

·       1:45 PM – Closing Remarks

·       10:00 – 2:00: Members of Niagara Bee group will be available to answer questions on bees, pollinators, native plants, bird breeding chambers, nesting platforms.

·       10:00 – 2:00: Live Birds of Prey exhibit and demonstration by conservationist Dave Gibson.

·       9:00– 2:00: Visit a variety of Vendors throughout the Farmer’s Market
